A Busy...that I'm not used to! | Erin Rachel Photography
Early mornings, late nights, messy clothes, three baths a day, swimming,
sand, water, snacks, juice, cries, laughs, shopping, splash pads, swim suits,
running through the condo, squealing contests, dirty diapers, nap times,
coloring, feeding ducks, eating M&M's, playing with tractors, going up and down stairs,
taking walks...
hopefully you get what I'm saying. I have been busy...a busy that
I am soooo not used to!
But all of that to say...I had {FUN} the last 4 days with my nieces,
nephew, sister, sister-in-law and parents in Destin, FL.

I've been away...Having fun :-)
I pretty much have disappeared from work, computer, home and life for the past few days. Spending time with some great friends in North Carolina!
The reason I'm blogging is not to tell you about my vacation...but instead...tell you about
my guest post while I was on vacation:-)
Two weeks ago I got a facebook message from a friend, Sarah, who is an avid blogger. (She is sooo creative!!!) A mom of three happy kiddos, a piano teacher, a pastors wife and a good friend! She asked me if I would be willing to write a "guest post" for her while she was on vacation. I was super happy to be able to do this and help her out at the same time.

Mini Beach Trip | Erin Rachel Photography
Of all times that I don't have my toe nails painted...I somehow get inspired
to look down and take a picture of my feet...yes my feet...
I know what's going through your mind-
w.e.i.r.d.
But guess what?
I had the camera in my hands and pretty much, anything
I like, all of a sudden becomes legit!!!! :-) Somehow...someway :-)
Since I hit it off tonight with random-ness I will move on!!!
Yesterday I headed over to the beach with my parents for a quick trip.
I haven't taken my camera out until tonight. Just to take some snap shots
and capture a few memories, with two of my favorite people in the world :-)
Yes... unfortunately there are tar balls on the beach...
I think we were all hoping it wouldn't happen but it's here.
Well I just finished off a "little bit" of
Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip ice cream
from Cold Stone Creamery. I should head to the gym n.o.w.!!!!!

Cousins | Erin Rachel Photography
Jeremiah, Hannah & Leah-Kate were due for some cousin pictures.
So a few weeks ago I took them out with the help of their "Yay-Yay" and Moms!
We took these pictures all in about 15 minutes!
Whamm!
...and I am kind-of loving them!
Jeremiah loves to hold the baby!
He is going to be such a good big brother!
This picture is so Hannah...she is saying

Storyboard | Erin Rachel Photography
So for you that follow me on facebook, twitter or here on my blog, you might have been wondering what I was ecstatic about recently?
Well I can finally show you! and you could have one too!
I think it's the perfect gift for a Mother, Father, Grandmother, Grandfather, Aunt, Uncle Cousin, yourself or anyone! I know mother's day is here this weekend but don't forget Father's Day is coming up in June!
It's a storyboard with 8-10 images from a session! This particular storyboard is an 11x16 but when it's framed is a 15x20. I printed it on foamboard so you could easily not frame it and tie a ribbon on it to hang it up.
I had it framed at Balli Gallery! Whoa talk about top notch, check them out!
On my nephews storyboard I simply put his name and underneath that what he loves!
I fell in love with it myself!!!!
Can you see why??!?!?!?

Work-a-holic is my middle name | Erin Rachel Photography
So my middle name has officially been changed...
from Rachel to Work-a-holic.
It's official! :-)
Ok not really but it could be legit.
So with all of that said I have "taken it easy today".
The definition to "taking it easy" is NOT laying around and reading a book- oh no!
I only could wish for that!!
My definition of "taking it easy" is sleeping in until 6:30...
grabbing a cup of coffee...
going and swimming a mile at the gym...
working on book work...
prepping for Photo Talk tonight...
running to the errands...
washing clothes...
and trying to cross a hurdle of a larger back-up system for the business.
oh-yeh
So I shall share three fun images from this weekend...which I will be blogging more about my weekend soon...Photography Workshop, engagement session and more to come!

We know what today is! | Erin Rachel Photography
Yep it's April 15th...Tax day!
I never like paying taxes...when you work hard for your money and then
you have to pay so much of it back. Yeh pretty much makes me want
to buy 10 acres in the middle of no-where...
build a log cabin...not work and live off of my land!
Ok Ok Ok...I don't think I could ever do that but
you know, hopefully you've gotten my point!
Anyway! A gi-normous thank you to my "book-keeper" for
all of his help! (my dad is pretty amazing!!!) I couldn't have done
it without him...in all seriousness!
Thanks dad for putting up with my grumpiness of answering questions...
my delays in getting things rounded up for you to start helping me...
Dad, thanks for everything, you know how to "get-er done!!!"
It's a great feeling when the check is written and the papers are sent!
One more year down...hopefully many more to go!
