This sweet family had waited several weeks to have their pictures taken! Upon their request we did pictures inside of the grandparents house, so that their granddad could be a part of the pictures! We all want sweet memories of our families and since Mr. Alexander was feeling better and in between treatments it was a perfect time. Even though we were inside the day was gorgeous and I'm glad to be a part of their lives in capturing memories as a family together!!

Facebook...The new rave
So if you already have facebook...let me guess you're addicted?!?!
If you don't have facebook...let me guess you're wondering what the big deal about it is?!?!?!
I've had my facebook profile for over two years and it seems like in the past few months it has become more and more popular! It's so fun to connect with old friends, catch up with friends, and connect with new friends...So if you're not my friend you should be!!!!
I had to laugh when I read this!!! I can't say this is all true for myself because I find myself not having much time for facebook...but this is sooooo true of most people that have/use facebook!!!
20 Reaons You know you are addicted to Facebook:
1-You check your Facebook page before having your first cup of coffee
2-You are spending more time changing your status update than actually doing anything worth commenting on.
3-You start using Facebook as a verb. As in "I'm going to "Facebook" so and so or I was "Facebooking" last night.
4-If you interrupt an actual conversation that you are having with a person and tell them "you know what, why don't I just "Facebook" you later...
5-Every time you take a picture you wonder if it is going to be Facebook worthy.
6-You plan all of your social activities on Facebook instead of using the phone.
7-You feel you might need therapy because someone you barely knew 20 years ago won't accept you as a friend.
8-You get mortally offended if no one responds to the clever quote it took you 20 minutes to come up with.
9-You actually click the Wall To Wall on other peoples' pages because you absolutely have to know the entire conversation they were having.
10-You are looking forward to your birthday for the first time in years because you want to see how many wall posts you will get that day. Which then leads to....
11-Getting angry at people who didn't wish you a Happy Birthday because "C'mon...it's on Facebook!...There is no excuse for forgetting!"
12-Instead of looking forward to your vacation, you are more worried about what you are going to miss on your computer while you are gone. Which then leads to....
13-Completely changing your cell phone plan and your cell phone because your current one doesn't have access to Facebook.
14-You only check your email to see if you have an update on Facebook.
15-You suddenly have 200 emails in your inbox and they are all Facebook updates. Which then leads to...
16-Spending two hours going through each email making sure you didn't miss anything when you checked your profile page. Which then leads to....
17-Feeling horrendously guilty that you didn't immediately respond to a comment someone left for you 2 days ago. How could you possibly have missed it?
18-If your Facebook wall looks like it is covered with graffiti because you have so many applications on it.
19-Your usual bedtime is now two hours later than it has been in years.
20-As soon as you meet someone the first thing you do is go home and "Facebook" them.

Amber...Jenny...and kids :-)
When trying to get 7 kids to all look at the camera and smile and stand still and be in the "perfect" position is quite the impossible! So that's why you have fun and click away! I think each of these pictures shows everyones personality in some way! How fun is that!!!
Madison is the ONLY girl out of this whole bunch so I had to do some pictures of just her!!
Thank you Amber and Jenny and all of you adorable kiddos for letting me "shoot" your families and have fun doing it! I hope you enjoy the slideshow!!

Jonathan and Heidi
I had to laugh because this is the only wedding I've been to where:
1-The bride was dressed FIRST
2-The bride helped the bridesmaids get dressed
3-We waited an hour and a half later to start pictures because a bridesmaid was late! (usually it's the guys!!!)
4-The bride and the bridal party were dressed and playing dutch blitz before the wedding!! Having a good old time!!!
5-The bride was soooo laid back and relaxed:)
6-The bride got her wish for snow on the ground!! (this is my all time fav.)
During the ceremony Heidi sang to Jonathan...yes this surprised everybody! The words are below with the pictures and the song is on the slideshow! I hope you all enjoy the pictures!
For a while I was confused so many questions from the start
but I couldn't keep your precious love from reaching to my heart.
You are beyond what I imagined nobody loves me like you do.
I can't believe the joy that's come from being in love with you.
When I say I love you I mean I always will
When I say You're mine alone there'll be no other
When I give my heart to you it will be yours to keep
and when I say I do I mean forever
Ahhhh...if you read the words and listen to the song it will make you cry:)
A few of my favorite people in the wedding were the flower girl and ring bearer...oh my goodness they were adorable and took their "job" very seriously!!!
[this is right when the ceremony started...Heidi had to peek in and see everybody...wow her face is glowing!]
[this is my second favorite...this is before the wedding and if you see the picture above where the two of them are holding hands...they didn't see each other before the wedding but this was her contagious smile when she got to hold his hand but not see him! [B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L]
A few days after the wedding the three of us went to a random barn and took pictures! Since they had an evening wedding we couldn't do outside shots...so the barn pictures were soooo much fun! I had my eye on this barn for the few days I was up there...Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Thompson for letting us use the barn! It was awesome!! I think this in my eyes is the winner:) I love love love this picture!
Now enjoy the slideshow:) It was so much fun to shoot this wedding...I had over 2000 pictures when I got home to edit!!! Fun stuff!
Thank you Heidi and Jonathan for letting me a part of your day. I hope your honeymoon to Hawaii was beyond wonderful!

Chicago...the windy city
I thought I'd share a few of the pictures from my trip up north! I really did have an awesome time! We went to downtown Chicago on Monday the morning before I flew out. I got to go to the top of the Sears Tower and see ALL of Chicago:) It was a blast even though it was for only a few hours then I had to rush over to the airport!
This is totally a random picture that I snapped along the way but I love it only because it actually shows you how busy the city is.
I love my friends!!!! They are awesome and wonderful and amazing:)
One highlight of the weekend was meeting up with an old friend that now lives in the Chicago area and having lunch with her!
Yes pictures of the wedding are coming super soon!

7 down...38 to go...
So I am super excited!!!! Last weekend started the marathon of basketball and cheerleading teams. I have a total of 45 teams to shoot so that makes a total of around 360 individuals to shoot over 4 weekends. I had a lot of fun and I look forward to the rest of the teams in the weekends to come.
I fly out on Thursday to the COLD COLD NORTH to North Indiana where it's like 11 degrees to shoot a friends wedding:) So I'm thinking I might be an ice cube:)but I really am excited so be watching for some pictures coming soon!!!!
