Well I can finally show you! and you could have one too!

I think it's the perfect gift for a Mother, Father, Grandmother, Grandfather, Aunt, Uncle Cousin, yourself or anyone! I know mother's day is here this weekend but don't forget Father's Day is coming up in June!

It's a storyboard with 8-10 images from a session! This particular storyboard is an 11x16 but when it's framed is a 15x20. I printed it on foamboard so you could easily not frame it and tie a ribbon on it to hang it up.

I had it framed at Balli Gallery! Whoa talk about top notch, check them out!

On my nephews storyboard I simply put his name and underneath that what he loves!

I fell in love with it myself!!!!

Basic Photography Workshop #4 | Erin Rachel Photography

Yesterday was simply amazing.

I was privileged to be able to teach the Basic Photography Workshop for the 4th time.

As I was sitting their teaching and they were asking me questions...

All I could think of was how much I LOVE this.

To sit there and be around people and see them learn...it's beyond rewarding.

I honestly l.o.v.e. it!

This was the smallest workshop I've had with only 4 attending. I had several back out

at the last minute, at first I debated on whether postponing it or going with it.

I'm soooooooooooooo thankful I went on with it.

I have to say each class gets better and better...

and yesterday confirmed that fact:-)

They were such a great group, great questions, eager to learn, willing to be critiqued and to top it off...FUN!

As we all enjoy the fun and memories of Christmas, may we not forget the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of a perfect, sinless Savior who lived and died for you and me.

Every now and then I will have a client that asks for custom designed Christmas cards.

I really do enjoy designing them. I'm not a graphic designer and I don't claim to be.

I always have a time of brainstorming for the card.

I have to have it perfect so that the card actually fits the client.

After long moments of thought...

Many layers on Adobe Photoshop...

I have a new design...

a new creation...

a new spark of love to design!

I designed this for Kathleen & Brandon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kathleen because

she sooo trusts me! She picks the picture and she lets me be creative. She is GREAT!

I suggested we print this on pearl paper. Yes it's a little bit more in price but I told

her it would be worth it. I'm so glad she trusts me.

I opened the package...to my surprise they were better than I thought.

Stunning...if a card can be stunning:-)

So yes the card itself might look good on the computer...but

please do me a favor and picture it on shiny pearl paper!!

Basic Photography Workshop

I have been overwhelmed...amazed...and excited with the response to the workshop.

When I was given the opportunity to teach at the Homeschool Cottage of course I jumped in with both feet.

I love teaching, seeing others learn, answering questions, making new friends, helping others and having fun.

My goal with the classes?

Is:

be Inspired

Whether it's for personal use, hobby, business...I want you to be inspired to take better pictures

learn how to use your camera and learn what makes a good image.

The first workshop filled up with in a matter of days...the second workshop is full and the third is quickly on the way to being full!!! Amazed is what I am :)

the first class was incredible...I had so much fun...everyone was so relaxed...

We started with about 15 minutes of "classroom" time then quickly went out on a project.

Came back in for some more class room time...had another quick project...more classroom time then headed to the park for a picnic lunch with more projects to work on. As well as to answer any questions and have some hands on time. They were busy working! I took as many pictures I could take!!! Between helping and loading pictures and eating!!! Yummy Black Eyed Pea Salad...hey don't knock it till you try it!!! It's soooooo delicious...thanks to Mrs. Kimberly who introduced us to it! Anyway...a few action shots

Who is the workshop for? Anyone, all ages, that has a camera and wants to know how to use it, how to take better pictures, have fun and come with a smile!!!!
