What an awesome family...these boys kept me on my toes:-)

I knew Mom from church waaayy back when...

She was in highschool...I thought she and her sisters were the prettiest girls around...

and I was 10! Yeh those days:-)

Yes I am up at 2:00AM in the morning...

Thanks to peppermint mocha frappuccino with caffeine from starbucks I'm working:-)

Caffeine and Erin really don't mix, especially since I'm tired but I can't sleep.

So I finally gave in and decided to get up and work while I'm awake!

After a midnight snack of crackers, cheese and fresh smoked turkey...

my belly is full, the music is on and the editing begins!

Today was quite amazing!

I spent it at Fairview Riverside Park for 8 family sessions...5,818 pictures total...yeah my work is cut out for me:-)

I loved every minute of it!

I don't like to do sneak peeks but I couldn't resist on a few of these!

Happy Veteran's Day

As I sit down at my desk...drinking a cup of coffee, reading my devotion then catching up on emails and seeing what's going on in the lives of my family and friends on facebook I am reminded that it is Veteran's Day.

I want to thank all of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms. We know freedom is not free!

Also I am thankful for the families of the men and women who serve... they sacrifice more than I can imagine as well...months without seeing a spouse, a dad, a mother, a friend, a son, a daughter and the list goes on.

Thank you.

Ultimately I am thankful for the freedom that Christ gives through his sacrifice of giving his son to die on the cross for me, you and us.

Just take a moment to tell someone thank you that has served our country!

My Friends- Brantlee & Baylor | Erin Rachel Photography

You might remember my little friends from a couple of other fun sessions we've had together!

Brantlee & Baylor are soooo fun in front of the camera:-)

Their session got rained out last weekend so we rescheduled for Friday afternoon and we had lots of beautiful sunshine and dry ground!!!

As I'm getting ready for their session I walk over and see these cute brown headed girls running and doing cart wheels in their Christmas dresses:-)

As we took a break for a quick outfit change...they come running back with blue jeans, sweaters and bare feet! Love it:-) Makes my heart happy!!!
